Puma Punku is one of many areas of fascination for both archaeologists and UFO enthusiasts alike. A place that defies what we 'believe' (using we in a general sense) ancient peoples to be capable or incapable of. Boasting precise cuts in large slabs of rock, weighing tons, (apparently from a quarry miles away) that are VERY difficult to cut into, the machination of some of these pieces raises an eyebrow. Not to mention that these large heavy pieces are said to possibly have stood on top of another defies our senses even more. How could these ancient peoples have gathered the rock, sculpted it to their desired tastes, and hoisted the rock with ancient tools when in even this technological age, it is difficult to do. There is a great article on the subject that does a much better job at explaining it all: hubpages.com/hub/Ancient-Mysteries-Puma-Punku-in-Tiahuanaco
